Boughton under Blean, North Kent Coast.
All times GMT. Thunder storm, 1938 to 2015, began overhead and moved quickly north east. From 1930 to 2000 the rain gauge collected 12.4 mm. Total rainfall for the day 21 mm, 8.6 of which fell between 1330 and 1645. There was a maximum gust of 43 mph at 1615. Looking around locally, I have seen one dead thorn tree blown down. The roads were flooded for a short while aftre the storm. |

There is lots of debris along the roads - most has been cleared to the sides. A friend reported half a tree partially blocking the Sturry Road out of Canterbury. Jonathan Canterbury, Kent |
