LOL, was amazing though, especially as I'd kinda grown up with the Giles,
McCaskill, Fish, Tranter team, so to meet the man in person was fantastic
and he really is as much of a weather fan as all of us here.

What was funny, was when he pulled out a piece of paper with latest
observations on them sketched onto a UK map and had drawn the isobars and
isallobaric areas to show the development of the system which affected
Western areas yesterday. Needless to say, his prediction was spot on.
