I'd be grateful to hear from anyone with experience of uploading data to
Weather Underground, particularly with Davis Vantage Pro and Weatherlink 5.4

I've been trying. I have successfully set up an account and configured the
software with ID and password, but no data is being uploaded. Does it take a
while for the database to update - or am I doing something wrong. I've tried
contacting Underground directly, but have received no response.

I had it working, then my WMII logger jammed, and after that I'm ledt
with the WU configuration saying that the last upload was on the
31/02/04 2:30, (31st Feb!!). I don't know how to clear this, nor can I
access the 'useless' data that was uploaded to WU on the 3rd and I
can't upload at all now. Numerous e-mails and no answers.

WU Personnal Weather Stations is very good, when it works, but it
seems to be hit or miss as to whether you get it to work or not. There
is NO help or support when things don't work out and you have no way
of editing anything thats uploaded.

One suggestion I do have is check your WeatherLink 'Daylight Sunrise
and Sunset' under 'Reports' at the bottom, make sure it is GMT London.

Check the settings in Weatherlink and find the 'Daylight Saving' box,
check it's not ticked and reset the timezone in WU to Europe/London.

I realy don't know what actually triggers it to work. I was thinking
of uninstalling WeatherLink and reinstalling it, to see if I could
clear the 31st Feb last upload, but nows not a good time to start that
game. I'm just hoping WU will eventually throw some light on what's
going on.

Best of luck, because that's what you need. I've messed about with WU
more than anything else on this b*&^%y thing.

But wasn't 'The Weather Underground' a Namerican domestic terrorist/crime
gang from sometime aroung the 1960s or 70s?
