Wijke SE Flevopolder The Netherlands You call that cold? It just shows to what extent we've been turned into wimps by all these very mild winters ... :-) I wonder what would be told on the TV if we would see a repeat of the cold wave of 1978 - 1979. However: The odds for such a nice icy blast are equal to those of a snowflake in hell if I look at the current weaher maps. Mazzel & broge / kind regards, Evert Wesker Amsterdam, The Netherlands http://come.to/wesker (redirect URL, no adv's), or http://www.euronet.nl/users/e_wesker/ PS: My personal "out in the open all time low" stands on -38 C with a 15 - 20 km/h breeze (from the NW, so yes, not in the Netherlands; The location was Nussuaq peninsula on Greenland during a solo langlauf tour over there in march-april 1996). |
