BITTERLY COLD ARCTIC AIR WILL PERSIST OVER SOUTHERN ONTARIO.
NORTHERLY WINDS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS ARCTIC AIR WILL CAUSE COLD TO
EXTREME WIND CHILLS OVER MUCH OF THE DISTRICT AS WELL AS SNOWSQUALLS
OFF OF LAKE HURON INTO SARNIA AND LAMBTON COUNTY. WINDCHILL VALUES
WILL RANGE FROM MINUS 30 TO MINUS 40 ACROSS THE WARNED AREAS.
EXTREME WIND CHILLS OF THE MINUS MID FORTIES ARE QUITE POSSIBLE OVER
EASTERN ONTARIO AS THE AIR WILL BE EVEN COLDER THERE THAN OVER
SOUTH-CENTRAL ONTARIO.

CAUTION IS STRONGLY ADVISED WHEN BEING OUTDOORS AS FROSTBITE ON

On January 12th 1987 my max was minus 8.7C here in Coulsdon, Surrey and
during the following days the wind increased with heavy snow. One of our
local milkmen was taken to hospital with frost bite to his hands.

but delving more deeply into the IPS,Meteostar site I see they are fairly
liberal with their Geography. Looking under 'stickies' (stickers) there are
lots available but in many cases the places named and the source of the data
are miles apart. Things are never what they seem.......
