Try here... http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/live/brradar.shtml It isn't exactly an animation, but it does show a sequence of still radar images at hourly intervals. It used to update regularly, but recently there has been a delay for the updates to come through. Brendan |

I'm looking at it right now, it was the site that prompted the
question... thnks though Brendan. Pharm... Occassionally, I download all the images and create an animated GIF using these BBC images. It produces quite a nice and interesting loop. Here is one I made a few weeks ago using the satellite images... http://www.djmurphy.demon.co.uk/coin At the moment, it is a manual task which takes me about 5 minutes. I hope to have an automated method soon so that it can be updated automatically. Does anybody know of a utility which can run in a command window (so that I can make a little batch program) to create an animated GIF from a series of still images? Brendan |
