Default looking for active weather forum for North America

I can't seem to find one that gets alot of good hits..

Particularly, I'm trying to find out about a possible outbreak of very
cold Arctic air into the U.S. around the beginning of 2004.
I've heard about a super ridge thats developing over the Pacific that
might force Siberian air into Canada..
