An updated listing and 'clickable map' of privately-owned UK weather
reporting websites is now available on the usual URL at: http://www.weatherstations.co.uk/links.htm Apologies to all new entries for the delay in creating this latest update. A couple of noteworthy features are that the listing now tops the 100 mark for the first time and that we're pleased to welcome our first Irish entry. (I'm sure that there must be more private station websites in Ireland, but I've yet to come across their details). I haven't had time to check the details of all the sites quite as carefully as usual, so would appreciate the owners of the listed sites making their own check please and letting me know of any errors. As ever, I try to make this listing as comprehensive as possible so if anyone knows of any similar but unlisted privately-owned UK-based websites that update their data automatically then please drop me a line. Further interim update now online. The colour scheme of the clickable
map has been changed to something plainer but hopefully also clearer. There are a couple of new stations still to be added as and when I receive some remaining details from the owners. If anyone else has a station to add (must be an AWS) then please let me know asap if it's to be included in the current cycle of updates. John Dann www.weatherstations.co.uk |
