I was in Norwich this afternoon - buying brand new race bike :-D Just paid for
the bike just before 3'ish and the heavens opened with hail. Over the next few minutes hail the size of peas was coming down, with pavements & roads turned white with the hail coating everything. It was very interesting weather! Cheers. --This is an invalid email address to avoid spam-- to get correct one remove dependency on fame & fortune h*$el*$$e**nd***$o$ts***i*$*$m**m$$o*n**s@$*$a$$o* *l.c**$*$om$$ do not post my correct 1 on *any* public forum - thanks |

It's OT, but what did you buy?
Bianchi ML3 alloy race bike with carbon forks - Campag Daytona/Veloce mix. Putting it on topic, no mudguard clearance as a race model, so I haven't ridden it outside yet, as without mudguards, cycling in the wet means one very, very wet, cold and mud-splatted bottom is the result. I have a Bianchi San Remo complete with mudguards as my everyday bike. I'm migrating to my winter mountain biking now - much more fun when there's no-one else around (roads around here are too dangerous in the winter gloom, so the road bike is on the turbo). Last Sundays' ride was at Christmas Common where it is as dry as I can remember and I've been riding that route on and off for 8 years - I don't miss the mud, however! |

Hope so! I'm migrating = to my winter mountain biking now - much more fun when there's no-one = else around (roads around here are too dangerous in the winter gloom, so = the road bike is on the turbo). Last Sundays' ride was at Christmas = Common where it is as dry as I can remember and I've been riding that = route on and off for 8 years - I don't miss the mud, however! I enjoy watching/marshalling cyclocross, but I don't enjoy *doing* cyclocross. :-) I did an off-road event some time ago - done it once, don't intend to do it again intentionally. I am a wimp - I prefer cycling on tarmac - a born roadie, albeit a very slow one :-D Mind you, track is great fun. I have a trip to the Manchester Velodrome booked soon and it can chuck it down that day, as I'll be cycling under cover.
