Another global "barometer" , global sea-ice , may have plateaued

That surprised me, I thought the arctic sea ice extent was greater or at
least stable this winter, but it continues to shrink, even on a La Nina
year.

Perhaps the wrong sort of sea-ice, with less and less around , the
proportion of the resilient multi-year ice is probably reducing markedly.

My other favourite barometer is global sea level rise
https://www.aviso.altimetry.fr/en/data/products/ocean-indicators-products/mean-sea-level/products-and-images-selection-without-saral-old.html
Last updated in Nov 2020 with Sept data, usually about 2-monthly
updates. Makes me wonder why the reticence.
Later this month I have a meet up with an NOC prof , to return some
source material back to me. As he is a world expert on sea levels I'll
try and find out what is going on with the altimetry data.
