Keith (Southend) Perhaps the wrong sort of sea-ice, with less and less around , the proportion of the resilient multi-year ice is probably reducing markedly. My other favourite barometer is global sea level rise https://www.aviso.altimetry.fr/en/data/products/ocean-indicators-products/mean-sea-level/products-and-images-selection-without-saral-old.html Last updated in Nov 2020 with Sept data, usually about 2-monthly updates. Makes me wonder why the reticence. Later this month I have a meet up with an NOC prof , to return some source material back to me. As he is a world expert on sea levels I'll try and find out what is going on with the altimetry data. -- Global sea level rise to 2100 from curve-fitted existing altimetry data http://diverse.4mg.com/slr.htm |
