Some sun in Brussels but rather heavy showers late afternoon and evening
Brussels on Friday 14th May 2021
Sunny start, but convective cloud developed quickly during the morning. Large amounts of well-developed Cu/Cb in the afternoon, though still with sunshine now and again. Shower around 17.00 local time, accompanied by a single flash of lightning and rumble of thunder, and a further shower at 20.00. Mostly light S to SW wind until mid-afternoon; rather variable between NW and NE later. Temperature still on the cool side of the seasonal average. 12 mm rain reported from Brussels Airport during the morning, but it stayed dry where I live.
