0600z: 07009KT 8km Slight rain 3ST010 3SC020 8AC070 4.4/3.6 QFF 1008.5 rising.
SYNOP: 11458 80709 10044 20036 40085 52007 60062 76062 8557/ 333 20044 83710 83620 88357= Slight rain from 2130z becoming moderate from 2300z and heavy 0045z-0110z, then intermittent and slight after 0200z. Cloudy or overcast throughout, with the stratus currently just covering the top of the Long Mynd at times. Visibility very good initially becoming moderate or poor during precipitation, then good or moderate since 0200z. Surface wind NE-E F1-2 increasing F2-3 after 2200z and F3-4 after 0130z. Cloudy/overcast with stratus lowering to obscure the south Shropshire hills at times. Moderate visibility. Visibility improving to good by 1000z, and is now very good.
