UAH Feb. +0.20C 6th= Feb on record.
Globally, still very warm, despite a fairly deep La Nina.

UAH Feb. +0.20C 6th= Feb on record.
Worth saying again perhaps that 2021 (on) 'anomaly' figures from UAH
moved from previously using the 1981-2010 mean to the 'new' 1991-2020 mean and so the nominal anomaly figures aren't directly comparable with those up to Dec 2020. I haven't calculated exactly what the difference is but presumably the new reference is something like 0.1 to 0.2C higher than for the previous 3 decades. And so the Jan & Feb anomalies appear smaller than if quoted against the previous reference. |
