February 2021 continued the cold pattern first established here in the
final week of December 2020. The first half of February 2021 saw cold
easterly winds bring frequent snow showers. Continuous snow cover here
from 7th - 14th. Later on the 14th a big change occurred as S to SW
winds moved in with higher temperatures. This milder pattern continued
to the end of the month. The monthly average temperature ended just
below the long term average. A rather wet month with sunshine close to
average.
