Lowest cloud then became convective, and there has been a significant increase in cover since 1120z. Visibility improved to excellent as convection got going. Surface wind now showing signs of influence from the proximity of Wenlock Edge, with a much-reduced mean speed compared to recently, but with gusts into the low 20s (knots) and the direction trace showing significant variability.
