Advice please! I have had a Davis Vantage Vue set up at home in my garden for 4 years, though I think this is the 3rd one I have had in the past 10 years or so. The unit is no longer reporting rainfall, with only sporadic outdoor temperatures. All other parameters seem to work OK So a simple question, as the console seems to work OK, will I just need to replace the ISS unit outdoors; will its signal be picked up by the old console, or do I need to buy a new console? I would be grateful for help best wishes Steve Jackson Just needs the ISS - old console will be fine: https://shop.weatherstations.co.uk/d...57ov-400-p.asp Worth considering getting a VP2 ISS as an alternative. The wearing parts are easier and cheaper to replace individually even though the upfront cost is more. And parameters like wind and rain should be more accurate. A VP2 ISS would still be received fine by a Vue console (provided you don't want any supplementary transmitters). John Dann |
