This may already be well-known but in case there is someone out there
who doesn't know there is an excellent app called 'PWS Monitor' (available for iOS and Android) which enables you to monitor the near real-time output of any AWS that submits data to WeatherUnderground. There are tens of thousands of them around the world, including several thousand in the UK. Very useful for anyone who doesn't have his/her own AWS. It's very likely that there's one not many miles away. Be warned, though, it can become very addictive! -- Norman Lynagh Tideswell, Derbyshire 303m a.s.l. https://peakdistrictweather.org twitter: @TideswellWeathr |
