Drought broken in Brussels: heavy showers with thunder in the early afternoon
Brussels on Friday 12th July 2019
Sunny start, but increasing high, medium and convective cloud during the morning. Brief sharp shower at 12.30 local time, accompanied by distant rumbles of thunder. Fairly lengthy heavy shower from 14.05, with another rumble of thunder. Brighter again from mid-afternoon, with broken cloud and some sunshine. Cooler than yesterday. Light SW to W wind veered moderate NW to NNW during the afternoon.
