BBC forecast mentioned it as a possibility for early next week.

I have to agree Jack - the UKMO 132h chart for next Tuesday is pretty
impressive for snow enthusiasts. Thing is - its only October! Come January, the coveyor belt will have been switched on, and we will be complaining of floods.
