This month must be close to it's sunniest February http://www.met.reading.ac.uk/~brugge/percs.jpg , somewhere between 120 & 122, depending on how today goes. Must be around 140 hours on nearby coastal spots.

1st day with a smallish messy wave for a very, very long time, though it's not going to last. Over 20' forecast for Sennen on Monday. Unlike recent times it won't be surfable - blown out and dangerous.

Recorded 131.0 hours here Graham.

So a sunny month (eLTA = 92 hours) but last year's February beat it with
136 hours. This February was the 3rd sunniest in my 14 year record.

The total possible sunshine was 42%, which is slightly below my eLTA
annual percentage but February is not usually noted for its sunshine.
The shorter month also plays a part in skewing the figures giving the
impression that this February was a particularly sunny month.

So, on an actual percentage of available sunshine, February has been on
average, the dullest month of the year here over the last 14 years.
