RMK: Snow continued till about 1000z then turned to
rain which dribbled on till early afternoon. Dry
since then. Although this morning's snow event was
short-lived it was quite nasty. Rain turned to snow
by about 0645z and it snowed at the heavy end of
moderate for 3 hours or so. As the overnight rain
had cleared all of the salt off the roads the snow
settled readily. A few main roads were closed for a
while. At this level all of the snow has gone already
but there's still quite a bit lying above 400m.
Max temp 5.1°.
