RMK: One way and another it's been a pretty foul day.
Thick fog early lifted into low cloud after 0900z as
the SE wind strengthened. The remainder of the morning
was grey and raw. Slight rain started around 1230z. It
became moderate sleet just after 1300z. It changed
back to rain around 1345z and there's been moderate
to heavy rain since then. There's been about 12 mm
since 1230z. Max temp so far is 4.4° but it's rising
steadily now.
