After the lowest maximum on record on 27th, it was rather warmer yesterday, with a maximum of 11.1C.
Last night it dropped to 0.5C, beating my previous October record of 1.1C on 21st Oct 2010. Just inland at Bosullow there was an air frost. The breeze was perfectly aligned with the peninsula. The mean temp here is set to end up just below normal, I wouldn't have predicted that 10 days ago. Still, much less breeze this morning, and sunshine. Graham Penzance |
