Reading Philip Eden's as ever interesting column in today's Sunday
Telegraph, I was struck by the -11.4C at Braemar on 26 March. Am I right in thinking this is the lowest minimum of the year so far? And if so, it's very plausible that it might end up as the lowest temperature of 2008 (given the lack of wintry Decembers in recent years). And am I further right in thinking that this would be the latest that the lowest minimum of the year has occurred, at least since 1900? I know there's a lot of "ifs" in that, but it's something to look forward to ... Trevor From a wintry and snowswept Dundee http://www.personal.dundee.ac.uk/~taharley/ |
