After a lovely sunny afternoon on Sunday, the cloud sheet edged back as far west as Scilly, with the sunshine tantalisingly close, but not close enough. Monday was a rather bleak day. Very small temperature range over the 24 hours to 09:00. Max 13.8C, Min 11.8C
At last the cloud is edging away eastwards again. https://www.atlanticcottageholidays....m-sennen-cove/ The chart for later this week is a bit of a surfers dream. A persistent long fetch of strong SW winds across the Atlantic allowing a good clean long period wave to build. Saturday could be superb (5 stars on MagicSeaweed) as it'll be combined with (forecast permitting!) almost calm, or light offshore conditions on the north coast. Graham Penzance |
