Most places locally had plenty of sunshine after 10:00, but the Cu / Cb did align themselves into very narrow bands along the wind, occasionally resulting in a very narrow band of sharp showers. You'd have to be in the wrong place to catch one.

The total rainfall from 06:00 on 11th until 09:00 14th (75 hours) was 97.1mm
06:00 – 09:00 on 11th 4.8mm

24 Hours to 09:00 on 12th 47.8mm
24 Hours to 09:00 on 13th 28.0mm
24 Hours to 09:00 on 14th 16.5mm
TOTAL for 72 hours 92.3mm

There have been a few 3 day periods since 1991 with similar totals, e.g 92.9mm 24-26/4 2009, but nothing much more.

As far as the wettest 09:00-0900 period is concerned, the 12th is well down the list, the wettest being:-
