Remarks
-------
Taken overall, it was a very wet and very sunny month relative to
average, with temperatures very marginally below average. The most
notable event was the rainfall on the 20th. The 24-hour total from
0900z on the 20th to 0900z on the 21st was 76.4 mm, including 71.1 mm
falling in 12 hours between 1100z and 2300z on the 20th. It was the
wettest September in my 10-year record and second sunniest. The max
gust of 42 knots was the highest September gust I have recorded. The
24th and 25th were the 2 sunniest days I have recorded in September.
