Ken Copley Teesdale http://www.kencook.magix.net/#Latest Forecast Still in the warm, muggy air down here in the south, Ken. The surface front looks to be only 20 miles or so to the NW but its progress is very slow at the moment. Some disagreement amongst the models as to when the rain will stop here tomorrow. Met Office, Hirlam and Arpege are predicting that it'll rain until sometime around 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. Icon has it clearing much sooner, by 8 a.m. With a tee-time of 8:20 a.m. booked on the golf course I'm hoping that the Icon model is nearer the mark, even though it's something of an outside bet at the moment! -- Norman Lynagh Tideswell, Derbyshire 303m a.s.l. |

From virtually nothing over NW England to a well defined band of light/ moderate rain, in just 5 minutes! That would be impressive even for summer thunderstorm development. -- Col Bolton, Lancashire 160m asl Snow videos: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3QvmL4UWBmHFMKWiwYm_gg |
