Strange isolated gust
Sitting watching this football game, about 15 minutes in when we were
hit by a big gust of wind. Our external blinds were shaking and next door's parasol (a substantial one) went flying. The mean wind at the time was about 4 or 5 knots, but we had a gust of 19 knots. The anemo is quite sheltered so I suspect that actual gust speed was higher. It soon died down and returned to a light air, Anyone know what might have caused it? |
