The few wisps of cirrus of yesterday replaced by patches of Ac, some dense patches of Ac & Cirrus to the west with rain visibly falling, though all evaporating well above ground level.
Good sunny spells in Penzance, unbroken sunshine just to the east. Very attractive sky to the west. The blue is a really deep blue & the visibilty is still VG, verging on E, despite several days with the wind from a continental direction. Graham Penzance |

Still some dense patches with streaks of rain below. Virtually unbroken sunshine in Penzance since 12:30. Maximum temperature so far 23.6C @ approx 14:00, before a sea breeze developed. Must be a bit hot at the Minack https://www.minack.com/a-living-theatre/webcams/ Graham Penzance |

I've posted a picture taken from the St Martins (Scilly) webcam. http://www.turnstone-cottage.co.uk/Acrain.html The clouds really looked quite spectacular. All a long way west of Penzance now. Any way round this? Is my machine too picky? Tudor Hughes, Warlingham, Surrey. |
