Woke to sunshine again, though with more thin high cloud than recently, so not quite the deep blue of the last 3 days. The high cloud arrived from the south late afternoon yesterday. The very thin cloud is now decreasing though, and the sun is already strong.
Maximum of 22.1C yesterday, min 11.1C last night. Already close to 19C @ 09:00, so a rather warmer start today. Yesterday saw many places locally develop virtually no sea breeze. The air must be very stable. Also probably helped by the fact the very surface of the sea has warmed considerably in the still conditions & prolonged sunshine.. Graham Penzance |
