A quick heads-up for anyone who doesn't monitor other weather station
forums, where this has been extensively discussed:

A third-party logger for all Davis Vue and VP2 stations has now been
released. This offers all the standard features of eg the USB logger,
but obviously communicates via WiFi rather than a cabled connection.

There are some additional features too like direct uploads to WU, WOW
etc (ie without requiring a PC 24/7) and more, eg real-time weather
direct to a local smartphone/tablet.
