Back to normal Rhondda weather this morning! Wednesday late afternoon and evening were cloudy with increasing and lowering medium cloud layers. Remaining cloudy for the rest of the night, with the low cloud arriving with the rain in the past three hours. A few spots of slight rain during the evening between 1900z and 2200z. Dry until 0300z, then further rain which became moderate by 0345z, and heavy at times between 0415z and 0530z with a max rate of 10 mm/hr at 0525z. Since 0530z the rain has been moderate in intensity, and accompanied by drizzle. F3 SW'ly breeze since Wednesday afternoon, increased to F4 during the evening, and has been touching F5 at times in the past two or three hours. Very goo visibility at first, dropping to moderate or poor during the heavier precipitation. Minimum temperature was 13.9 (2326z).
