Well, another day of unbroken rather hazy sunshine. Any thin low cloud patches seemed to dissipate offshore.
Virtually no wind and very warm for Scilly. 21C upat the airport, and the first 24C of the year on St martins. It certainly felt like it, especially with a dew point of 15C or so. I was wilting by the time I reached for a beer at the Hell Bay on Bryher. checking conditions in West Cornwall, temperatures were similar, 23C at Lands End & Bosullow, and 22Cin penzance (according to my reserve observer) where there was some build up of cloud. Today looks to my warmest day. The calm conditions means large numbers of yachts anchored all around the Islands at the moment. Graham 40 miles from Penzance |
