[OBS] Ystrad, Rhondda - Fri 11 May 2018
0700z: 12010KT 30km 7SC040 8.9/6.7 QFF 1013.2 falling.
SYNOP: 42680 71210 10089 20067 40132 58012 875// 333 87640= Slight rain showers on Thursday afternoon stopped before 1300z, leaving a fine and sunny afternoon, albeit with a fresh-feeling breeze. Cirrus started to push in from the west during the evening, and any remaining convective cloud dispersed. A cold first part of the night, but increasing cloud and breeze stopped the fall in temperature by 0200z, thereafter it became warmer with the temperature at theoretical minimum time around 4 degrees higher than it had been earlier. Friday has dawned cloudy with extensive stratocumulus, very good visibility, and a F3-4 SEly breeze. SEly breeze has dropped since the rain started.
