Missed the showers completely here Norman, as we usually do in these WNW
winds. The showers seem to run out of 'ooomph' to the west of here and
we stay dry. Different story inland where the sky looked dark and
threatening at times. I suspect being near the coast helps though there
was no sea breeze today.

A maximum of 16.5C and nearly 6 hours of sunshine made for a decent day.

W-WNW is bad news here. The showers come streaming in off Liverpool Bay
and get a fair bit of orographic enhancement before they reach here.
The individual showers have been short-lived today as they have moved
through quite quickly. There have been plenty of them, though, and
several have been briefly torrential. Really nice, bright and clear
between the showers, though.

Dry in Penzance all day, with good spells of sunshine. I was in Truro this morning and there was an intense shower @ 11:00 with a fair bit of hail. On the way back the road was totally dry from Camborne. Also, very limited sunshine in Truro, the normal inland Cu development in these conditions.
