Temperature dropped to 6.8C last night. A bit of a surprise that, certainly lower than I expected. Colder the Camborne - which had a light onshore breeze, but also colder than Cardinham & similar to Culdrose. The SE wind was replaced by calm conditions
Misty low cloud (not sea fog) arrived around dawn. This raised the temperature and dampened the ground, by condensation as much as mizzle. Virtually calm, a barely perceptible drift from the west/morth west. Looking at the satellite imagery, the low cloud is on the move, so hopefully a warm & sunny afternoon ahead. I suspect the low cloud will be replaced by a few sea fog patches, most likely near Cape Cornwall or parts of the Lizard west coast. Graham Penzance |
