Well as the beast rides off into the sunset I have to say the cold at this
time of the year was nothing short of remarkable. 3 ice days in a row is something. Very little snow here, with just 7cms at my higher site but most of the City had a lot less. Never any problems with main roads or side roads in fact people living here must have wondered what all the fuss was about. While some places were hit really hard, we had far more challenging conditions with the snow & ice in December, which some days caused total chaos! Just want it to all go away now and get into Spring, hopefully it will start warming up soon. Slight to light snow overnight, been dry but overcast since 06.00 Current temp -1.6c Graham (Weston Coyney) .. |
