Freezing rain and snow in Brussels
Brussels on Friday 2nd March 2018
Cloudy but dry for most of the morning. Intermittent freezing drizzle started just before midday, and evolved into light to moderate freezing rain by mid-afternoon. Rain changed to snow around 16.00 local time, and mostly moderate snowfall continued for a couple of hours before petering out around dusk. All surfaces covered by lying snow: about 3 to 4 cm on the ground. Very cold again: temperature varied around -2°C to -3°C all day. Moderate E wind became lighter during the afternoon.
