Default Penzance - Biting E wind.

It's currently 2.8C, after a minimum of 2.6C, but it certainly feels colder. A biting F4-5 east wind. It's only 4C out on Sevenstones.

After a fairly sunny afternoon yesterday, the clouds cover is now 90%, and increasingly lumpy. It wouldn't surprise me to see a few flakes of snow later.

Interesting convergence line in the Channel, forecast for late tomorrow & Wednesday, coming right over the Lizard & Lands End.

Nobody surfing at Sennen today, based on the fact there were yesterday, that's due to the lack of surf now, not the cold.

Very light snow flurry 12:30. Proper small flakes, not pellets. Really quite dark out now. Temperature around 2.5C & edging down.

A cloudy raw day, though the wind has died down a bit now. Just the odd flake of fine snow in the wind.

Temperature has been going down very slowly down all day, 1.1C @ 18:00. With the low humidity it's starting freeze despite the cloud. Current dewpoints -9C at Newquay, -6C at Lands End.

A couple out windsurfing in the Bay, rather them than me. I can't imagine what it felt like being soaking wet, with a dewpoint of -5C or so in a F5 wind.

Not so bad here Graham but a cold day nonetheless with a maximum of 3.6C
making it the coldest day maximum for since February 11th 2017 (3.3C)

Compensation was 5 hours of sunshine.

Very low DPs of -6C have meant everything has dried out and there was
dust blowing around this afternoon where soils have been left bare.

Another frost tonight and the stars are shining brightly.

Freezing across Cornwall now, with some very low dew points, some of the lowest in England. -9C at Newquay, -8C at Camborne. The winds aligned with the peninsula currently.

Still basically cloudy here. A moderate snow shower around Helston 16:00ish, nothing settled by all accounts.
