I was hoping that one of the British and Irish stations you list would
have a lower maximum than Ny Alesund, which must be quite a rarity, but
unfortunately we didn't quite make it.

Regarding Moscow, according to the lunch-time BBC news, over the last
two days they've had their heaviest ever recorded snowfall.
Unfortunately they didn't specify a depth, but the video footage was
very impressive.

I'm surprised at how much colder Edinburgh was than Glasgow.

Belgian TV News says 43 cm in 24 hours on Sunday and perhaps 20 cm more expected today.
