... Whilst that's certainly possible (considering every other avenue has been considered!) it still doesn't really explain why, for most people including myself, the site loads fine. But is anyone else on Talktalk? (And perhaps in the Essex area.) TT routing issues still sounds quite plausible. |

Hi John, I'm not sure if this answers that theory, but I have used GetRight download manager for years which I have set for the three main Maldives downloads, this also doesn't work anymore. ALso I tried on four different computers but they all use the same router, beit hardwired or wireless, again none work, included my phone, which I have to switch WiFi off to get to the Maldives website. I can't access this from the schools internet. There is only a handfull of people that I know have the same problem, one in Cardiff and another in Brussels. I think it must be a combination of routing and a dodgy website, as so many fixes have been tried. My brother can access it and he's on Blueyonder. Yes, the thread has gone viral.. Many thanks everyone. Keith (Southend) |

Just to be clear, it's not any download management features of Opera that might be relevant, but its ability at least to partially hide the identity of what's been retrieved. So there's a chance - though only a chance admittedly - that a download via Opera might escape the attention of TalkTalk's border routers, if that is indeed what's causing the problem. |
