Default Proper "Cold" air failed to reach Penzance - Some very interesting figures

These figures demonstrate are revealing.
DATE MIN MAX
28/11 6.8 10.0
29/11 4.6 9.2
30/11 4.8 9.1
01/12 5.0 9.7
02/12 4.8 10.4
03/12 12.0 7.5

Same period in 2010
DATE MIN MAX
28/11 -4.3 4.6
29/11 -3.8 3.3
30/11 -2.0 3.2
01/12 -0.6 3.1
02/12 -1.5 2.3
03/12 -3.0 6.1

MEAN -2.6 3.8
So the MEAN Maximum in 2010 was way lower than the mean minimum in 2010, even ignoring 3rd

A pleasant, almost calm, bright & benign day. Max of 12.0C yesterday.

The next cold blast now looks like only clipping west Cornwall.

(Nick G - Take a look at http://www.sloop-inn.co.uk/live-surf...ve-web-camera/ late morning tomorrow if you get a chance. When it zooms in over Gwenver (following the low tide view of the main beach) see how much sand there is between the beaches. It's been a while since you could walk around even a LW Spring Tide, now you can for 3 or 4 hours each tide - very unusual.)

Should read "So the MEAN Maximum in 2010 was way lower than the mean minimum in 2017, even ignoring 3rd."
