The long sea track, as demonstrated by the recent persistent 'dangler' (now gone) has helped keep the temperature up a bit.
Max yesterday 9.1C (only a little colder, 8.6C, up at Culdrose). Min 5.0C last night. A F4-5 preventing the temperature falling much. The lowest temperatures of late being determined by the presence of a heavy hail shower. We need more of a NE wind to really lower the temperature here at this time of year, when the SST's still well into double figures. Graham Penzance |
