Default Icy

We must have had a substantial shower - I can't tell of what - overnight
here in Cranleigh, as surfaces were wet this morning and there were some
puddles. I woke up to find that there was a slight frost, and when I
went out around 8am to get my morning paper I had to be very careful, as
some areas of the pavement were frozen while other areas were not.
Thankfully I succeeded in remaining upright.

It looks like freezing rain fell here. The radar shows precip @ 0430 and
the temperature was around -2C at the time. The temperature had not risen
above zero before I got up but there was no snow to be seen anywhere, only a
layer of ice on some surfaces and liquid water on others.
