Default Wednesdays temperatures

Looking back on as many records as I could find yesterdays maximum
temperature in my part of suburban London was probably as low as it
could be for an August day.
We briefly hit 14c late afternoon ,but most of the time it struggled
around 13c. and following the previous few days ,that is pretty dramatic.
Does anybody have the official figures which verify my impression,or
otherwise of course ?
