Default On-line text book

I recently came across the following text book on-line:

------------------------------------------------

Practical Meteorology:

An Algebra-based Survey of Atmospheric Science

------------------------------------------------

It's a 938-page tome that's freely available at

https://www.eoas.ubc.ca/books/Practical_Meteorology/

There's quite a lot of mathematics in it but for those who find the maths a bit
challenging the text is still very understandable.

It's an excellent resource and the author is to be commended for making it
freely available.

Thanks for the link Norman.
You can see that a lot of work must have gone into producing this excellent book.

Norman,

Many thanks for this link I did not know about this ... I have liked
this book for sometime at least for the more motivated of my students
.... Stull's postgrad boundary layer book is great too but not for
teaching non specialist undergrads!

Cheers, Andy
