Rain really sets in this afternoon, chance recently when it was raining, 5%. (have they seen their own radar?) Best head out while it's relatively OK http://magicseaweed.com/Live-Praa-Sands-Webcam/10/

Also for SW England, on the Penzance 5 day forecast page it says "Windy along southern coasts."

Yet for Penzance - wind speeds
Noon 6mph
15:00 4mph
18:00 4mph
21:00 10mph
Which, if true, would make it the least windy day for quite some time.

Great stuff, what they expect people to make of it I can't imagine. It is now the norm. I noticed this in the Sennen Cove diary on Tuesday "Coming a close second must be an Exeter based weather forecasting agency that finds forecasting weather that is actually happening difficult. "

Considering how well the wave that is casing the rain was predicted several days back, it's a shame a bit of effort can't be made to translate that into a meaningful weather forecast.

They are still going on about 'strong coastal winds', despite the fact that the wind forecast is now,
18:00 4mph
21:00 5mph.

Tomorrow is likely to be much windier in the SW, but it's only described as breezy in the text.

Currently calm, wet & cool in Penzance, and this is Lands End http://www.landsendweather.info/met/mainframe.htm

Can I have summer back please, it's going to be a dull July.
