Light snow and freezing drizzle in Brussels: thaw arriving now
Brussels on Saturday 7th January 2017
Overcast all day and very misty this evening. Light snow and freezing rain in the latter part of the night produced a thin overall icy snow cover which has persisted throughout the day. Light freezing drizzle in the air at times, especially this morning. Nevertheless, no reports of significant traffic problems in Brussels, unlike some other parts of Belgium. Temperature rose slowly through the day, to reach 0°C mid-evening. Moderate SSW wind veered gradually SW and decreased during the afternoon. What have you made of the forecast for Greenland on Thursday? An interesting flux, I am sure. Whatever happened to Darren Prescott does anyone know? I do hope he wasn't eaten. |
